Alvin von Achim is a delightful 12 month old Shepherd mix. This floppy-eared goofball with the longest tongue is sure to put a grin on anyone’s face! Still very much a pup, Alvin exits his kennel excitedly and might forget his leash manners. Always on the go, he sure hopes that you have the energy to keep up with him! Alvin is all about having fun; you can just tell from his big smile and ever-wagging tail. On his walks, Alvin meets dogs rather pushily, trying to establish himself as the alpha. He could use some leash and obedience training for now but, being a fast learner, Alvin will probably ace the class and make you a proud parent. Alvin loves his humans and swoons when someone is willing to dish out some belly rubs and head scratches. He enters his playgroups a bit stiffly but eventually becomes comfortable and starts wagging his tail as usual. He even tries to invite other dogs to play. Sweet, happy Alvin would fit right into any family who chooses him - he hopes that it is one that will take him on hikes during the day and tuck him in bed at night.
